Swim Meets
- Families shall be billed monthly for swim meets in accordance with the fee structure outlined at the beginning of that season.
- Families shall be billed the monthly payment regardless of attendance at meets.
- Competition fees will be shown on registration and/or on the website
No Shows
- To cancel from a meet the swimmer/family must declare themselves as declined, discussion in person with coaches or athletes does not constitute withdrawal.
- If your swimmer is unable to attend a competition due to illness or injury, travel (including management) and entry costs will still be billed to your family account. Members may apply to the Board through the Exceptions Committee for reimbursement of these expenses by writing to the Club Manager stating your reasons. However, travel and entry costs are only reimbursed in extreme instances.
- In the event that a swimmer removes from the meet past the entry and or scratch deadline, the family will be billed for the difference between the cost of entries and the monthly competition fee billed by the club.
- In situations where a travel cost has been applied such as team travel, meets outside of the province or training camps. The total cost of cancellation will be incurred by the swimmer/family.
Cancellation of Meets
- Unless noted by the Lead Coach and Head Coach, athletes shall swim only the meets listed on their group schedule.
- Should a meet be canceled outside of our control or our entries limited, Coaches will do their utmost to make sure that athletes have meets in line with their competition schedule and fees implemented at the start of the year.
- If this is deemed not possible due to circumstances beyond our control then fees will be carried over to subsidize future meets or budgets.
