Medicine Hat
Medicine Hat Team Travel 2025
Great weekend in the books, thank you very much to Ryan, Teresa and Jenny for all their help and support over the weekend of Kim and I. Everyone did a great job in supporting the athletes and helping them to succeed! We cannot do it without you all.
Our annual Medicine Hat team travel was, I think, a good one this year! I was really impressed with the athletes' attitude over the weekend, we are learning! We had the usual, no nap = crash out. But we worked through it all really well, culminating with a pretty excellent finals session on Sunday. If athletes can work well in that environment they are set up for success with a bit more sleeping!
I never thought I would be standing on a bus trying to speak Gen Z/ Gen Alpha, giving out a heap of medals to some excited athletes.
Special mention to Avery in what is her last swim meet, swimming 400 IM, medalling. We were all so happy for you!
Another shout out to Ashton, Elsa, Sophia and Sage who swam up with us from Novice, integrated excellently with the group and swam super well!
So many medals! Please excuse me not listing all of them but here are the list of medalists and Club Records and New Qualifiers. Congratulations to Greta, Chloe on their CR's and Danae on her Qualification!
Go Riptides Go!
